Nominations are now being sought for the LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL EXEMPLARY SERVICE AWARDS
This prestigious Award was commenced in 1991 by the District Governor Rick Sullivan, to acknowledge and recognize those who serve their communities.
OBJECT:
Being to nurture and promote the principals of good citizenship by due recognition of Service to Others.
PARAMETERS:
To those who through practice and example to others, promote the principals of Good Citizenship. To those who in promoting these principals foster and encourage mutual understanding among the various segments of our community. Importantly, to those who through personal sacrifice on their part and who through care and devotion give service to the Needs of others
IMPLEMENTATION:
To ensure the value of this prestigious Award, the number presented in any one year shall be limited to no more than nine.
FORMAT:
The nomination shall be submitted through the Local Lions Club for consideration together with a précis outlining the history of the nominee as related to the above parameters.
